2026 One Week Maui Stay Raffle

​Dreaming of a tropical escape? Here’s your chance!

For just $5 a ticket (or 5 for $20, 12 for $40), you could win a one-week stay in a privately-owned condo on the island of Maui—seven sun-soaked nights in paradise. The condo sleeps 4 very comfortably, has a fully furnished kitchen, and a boasts a lanai with a beautiful view of the ocean.

The 2026 One Week Maui Stay Raffle, presented by Theatricus, gives every entrant a genuine shot at island bliss! Proceeds directly support the World Premiere production of THE HENRY CLYDE CANNING MURDER HOUSE, First Place winner of the 2025 VOX NOVA Playwright Festival.

The winner will be chosen by random drawing on March 31, 2026—no need to be present to win! Odds depend on the number of eligible tickets sold, and the prize includes a full week’s lodging (travel not included). Open to U.S. residents 18 and older.

2026 One Week Maui Stay Raffle - Rules

TERMS
Entrant: Anyone who enters the 2026 One Week Maui Stay Raffle.
Winner: The winner of the 2026 One Week Maui Stay Raffle.
Prize: One (1) week stay (7 consecutive nights) at a privately-owned condo on the island of Maui.

Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of the U.S., 18+.
• Void where prohibited.
• ​Any and all employees, officers, and board members of Theatricus, and their household members, are not eligible.

How to Enter / Odds / Drawing

• Tickets are $5 each, 5 for $20, and 12 for $40. Ticket purchases are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.
• Odds depend on the number of eligible tickets sold.
• Raffle entrants need not be present to win.
• Winner will be selected by random drawing on March 31, 2026. If Winner does not respond within seven (7) days, an alternate may be selected.

Taxes & Paperwork

• Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize.
• ​As the prize’s fair market value (FMV) is $600 or more (approximately $1400), Theatricus will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC for the value in the year awarded; winner must provide a completed Form W-9 before claiming.

Prize Description

• Prize: One (1) week stay (7 consecutive nights) at a privately-owned condo on the island of Maui.
• Travel, airfare, ground transportation, meals, tips, parking, and other incidentals are NOT included and are the winner’s responsibility.

Booking Windows / Use-by Dates

• Winner must make a reservation within 3 months of winning for a one week stay within 12 months of winning.
• Stay is subject to availability.
  • ​Once the winner has accepted the prize, an online calendar will be shared by the condo owner with available dates.

Property / Occupancy Rules

• Maximum occupancy three (3) guests; primary guest must be 18+ and present throughout stay.
• HOA house rules and quiet hours must be followed.
• No smoking; no events/parties; no pets.
• ​Standard check-in/check-out times apply; early check-in/late checkout not guaranteed.

Force Majeure
If natural disasters, government orders, or building construction make the prize stay unavailable, Sponsor may offer reasonable alternate dates.

Transferability / Cash Value
Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize may not be transferred. No resale.

Winner Verification / Publicity
By accepting, Winner agrees that Sponsor may use Winner’s name, city, likeness, and Prize information for promotional purposes without additional compensation where lawful.

Compliance

• Theatricus is a registered 501(c)(3); raffle conducted in compliance with California Nonprofit Raffle Program requirements (registration and annual reporting).
• At least 90% of gross receipts from ticket sales will be used for Theatricus’ charitable purposes.
• Tickets are sold in person only in accordance with California raffle regulations.

Privacy
Participant information will be used to administer the raffle, and may be used for marketing purposes for Theatricus events. We do not sell personal data.

Disputes / Governing Law

• All issues and questions concerning construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law.
• By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final.
